Azra Hadzimehmedovic

Azra Hadzimehmedovic is a seasoned, client-focused patent litigator with extensive experience handling complex patent matters in U.S. district courts, the Federal Circuit, the PTAB, the ITC, and before arbitration tribunals. She is a skilled advocate who has litigated significant patent disputes from inception through trial and appeal for industry-leading technology companies. Azra has argued before the Federal Circuit, examined witnesses at trial, and argued pivotal motions before numerous tribunals. Her practice spans diverse technology areas, including life sciences and biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, computer hardware and software, semiconductor devices, processing and packaging, video and streaming technology, location technology, computer security, networking, wireless communications, and content distribution networks.

Azra is an active leader in the patent bar community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Federal Circuit Bar Association and on the Steering Committee of Working Group 9/10 for the Sedona Conference. A frequent speaker, she is also regularly invited to share insights at the Naples Roundtable, the Berkeley-Stanford Advanced Patent Law Institute, the Strafford/BARBRI as well as FCBA and the Sedona Conference.

Before joining Tensegrity Law Group LLP in 2011, Azra was a litigation associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Her technical and scientific fluency is rooted in her pre-law career as a scientist and technical editor for the United States Pharmacopeia, an official standards-setting authority for healthcare products. She graduated from Berkeley Law with the Stephen Finney Jamison Award, presented to the top graduating student who best demonstrated combined excellence in scholarship and advocacy.

Ms. Hadzimehmedovic is fluent in English and Bosnian.
